Donald Wesley Wulzen, Flag rank officer, was born in Hamilton, Ohio in 1912. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1935 and retired from the Navy in 1969. He served in major campaigns in the Pacific Theater during World War II, including the Kwajalein campaign and Okinawa and was CO of USS Porterfield.
